"I first worked with Paul Casey, a designer at Playground Services in 2004. This was to design the external playground at a new staffed adventure playground in Paulsgrove, Portsmouth. The remit to this also took in the landscape of the site including paths and seating. The value of this contract was £184,000.
The work from start to finish was of a very high quality. Time was taken over design to ensure it was right for the site, was in line with the community consultation and ensured children experienced all the elements of play that we wanted to achieve including movement, sand and water, height and managed risks.
The contract was fitted by Playground Services in house teams. The fit was completed to a high standard and any issues were discussed. The standard of fit and finish are very high.
With the assistance of Playground Services we have bee able to create a fantastic playground which is well used and an integral resource to the community.
As a result of the high caliber of Paulsgrove Inside Outside Playground I have used Playground Services on other projects."
